This Better with Friends ‘Speed Friend-ing’ afternoon is aimed at women 35-55 years old who are looking for genuine friendships. Whether you find you have; outgrown old friendships, are new to Brisbane, are too introverted to meet new people unassisted, have no idea where to meet new friends, feel isolated after becoming a Mum, or you just want to add some new friends to your social circle, this event is for you.

Ideally we find it works best if you attend solo, as this will ensure you are open and fully present to the possibility of all the new friendships that are presented to you. But if you want to bring a friend or two, that is no problem.

Your host will be there to welcome you and settle your nerves as you enter into the private function space. Once inside you will receive your Welcome Drink and then it’s time for some 1:1 conversations as you get to know one gorgeous gal at a time and see who you share common interests, hobbies and passions with. There will be activities to break the ice and allow you time to get to know each other, at a casual, relaxed pace, and at the end of the event there will be time to mingle as a group too.

Whilst getting to know your new friends there will be a delicious selection of hot & cold canapes and nibblies available for you to share. There is also direct access to a private bar to allow you to purchase additional drinks as you please.

The event will end around 4pm, however as we are in Woolloongabba, there are plenty of bars, cafes and clubs around, should you want to kick on with your newfound besties.
